Last year the Entertainment Software Association launched a charity package of discounted PlayStation 2 games that gave more than $1.5 million to children and youth non-profit initiatives in the US.

This year, they're planning to duplicate their success with a pack of three E-rated Xbox games that will sell for $29.99. The deal will re-release Disney's movie-based games, Open Season and Cars, and the original Xbox launch title, Fusion Frenzy, which will also hit Xbox Live's Xbox Originals program next month.

Through the program, which is supported by Great Western Industries, Sonopress, Technicolor, TenGun Design, Irdio and Packaging 2.0, the Entertainment Software Association hopes to collect $2 million for youth programs through their charitable arm, dubbed the ESA Foundation.

The launch date for the value pack has not been announced, but if it ships as an independent release, it could be the last official one for Microsoft's debut game system.

UPDATE: The package is already available in select retail locations.
