According to Barrons Magazine, Electronic Arts has made some major price cuts to a number of games spanning current and past generation consoles.

NCAA Football for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox and Xbox 360, NBA Live for Sony's systems and the Xbox 360, the latest Madden game for Xbox, PS2 and GameCube, plus most editions of Nascar, FIFA '08, Tiger Woods, and the single non-sports title, an unspecified version of Medal of Honor.

All the games are cut by around $10, for new suggested retail prices of between $30 and $60 US.

Although Evan Wilson of Pacific Crest said price drops "indicate some risk," Electronic Arts did hint earlier this month that games, in general, are too expensive. At that time, EA's president suggested they would be making moves to create a more sustainable market with cheaper software.
