According to Reuters news service, an unnamed actor recently made $500,000 in a single voice-recording session for a video game.

Lev Chapelsky, general manager of production company Blindlight, explained it as a "problem," to Reutors, adding that "Agents are under the misconception...there's a ton of money to be had for their clients. In a game, the entertainment is about the gameplay. The actor's contribution isn't as important."

But in an $18 billion industry, the Screen Actors Guild believes compensation of $760 for a four hour session is a reasonable minimum.
